Welcome to the M+ Collections Beta!
The Collections Beta provides a window into M+’s collections of twentieth- and twenty-first-century visual culture, which we have been building since 2012. We’ve launched this platform with over 3,084 objects and 2,710 archival items.
This website offers multiple ways for you to interact with and explore the M+ Collections. We’re calling it a ‘beta’ because it will grow and evolve over the coming year, as we continue our research and cataloguing and as we tell new stories about the collections. The Collections Beta builds on our open access approach, which began with the release of the first M+ open data set in August 2018. As a public institution, M+ is committed to sharing knowledge, and continues to work towards making the entirety of the M+ Collections available and accessible online.
We would love to hear from you as we build the Collections Beta. Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
